The QMUN (Quarantine MUN) was an idea that bloomed to existence because of a bored and frustrated MUNer who wanted to make a change without having to step outside the safety of their home. What began as a complaint, turned into an idea and soon it became a reality.
This motivation to pursue the said crazy idea stemmed from the belief that there were just too many important things that were left ignored in the wake of the Covid-19 pandemic. Thus, we began our journey, and in just three days we’d planned and decided what we’d wanted to achieve in this MUN, and we’d made up our minds to go through with this to the very end.
The QMUN is in fact a joint initiative between a group of strong-willed and tenacious group of close friends who’d bonded over their shared love of global geopolitics, school drama and debate. This band of misfits make up the perfect paradigm of what the young leaders of the future should look like, and they’re willing to walk the mile to ensure this experience is as entertaining and stimulating for you.
