My name is Nithisha Nantha Kumar and I serve as the secretary-general of QMUN 2020. I’m extremely excited to welcome you to the first ever Quarantine Model UN in the region! Although the Quarantine is unfortunate, it had all of us discover our passion, with people starting their own blog to display paintings, making dance covers or composing music. However, I did see that there wasn’t a platform for MUNers to express their ideas about the pandemic. That led me to start my own! After I explained the idea to my passionate peers, within 2 days, we launched QMUN!
QMUN aims to find solutions to the after-effects of the COVID-19 pandemic. It also looks into past pandemics in order to find methods to deal with future pandemics in an effective manner. I encourage you to make the best of your quarantine by joining QMUN!
